A Drupal contributor has now expressed interest in seeking sponsorships to continue their work on the Drupal core, offering to share core credits in exchange for support. While this is garnering attention, it would be interesting to see how this unfolds.

D8cards.com (Drupal 8 cards) started as a group study exercise for my team to help the team learn Drupal 8, especially since there was a significant learning curve between D7 and D8. More about it here. More about it here and here.
Did Config Management Initiative in Drupal do the exact opposite of what it intended to do? Is the lack of a documented Config Management Strategy creating a barrier for teams to adopt Drupal? Can team be successful with using Drupal without investing heavily to figure out their own Config Management Recipe?

There is an existing private github repo that contained code for a D9 site (this website). The objective that I set out with -
Moved this website (www.tanay.co.in) from an older version of Drupal 7 to Drupal 9. And switched the DNS to this new site, just a while earlier.
The migration was fairly straight forward using the Migrate Drupal UI module. I had attempted moving this site to D8 5 years ago. It was a bit messy, and I chose to leave it in Drupal 7. My observations from back then are detailed here.
